Go to the setups menu. ( this button is located on the
manufacturing toolbar.)
Here you will see the current setup shown.
To change the fixture ID for that setup, select
"edit".
Insert the number of the fixture ID you will use .
The number you use will be returned in the NC code with a G
in front of it.... such as G54.
Note that with version 8, fixture IDs are now located in the
.cnc post processor editor. If you set up the post processor correctly,
FeatureCAM will suggest a valid fixture ID. To add fixture IDs to a post processor:
Open the post processor with
XBUILD.
Select Fixture ID from the CNC Info menu.
List all valid fixture IDs, one per line.
