Featurecam carries all of your
user settings in a file called "ezfm.ini".
This file can be found in your Windows folder (or the Winnt
folder for NT & Windows 2000)
-
Among other things that are stored
in the ezfm.ini file are your default attributes. These
are found by going to Manufacturing>Default
Attributes.
-
When you open Featurecam it reads
your default attributes from the ini file.
-
If you have changed your default
attributes around , but would like to return to the ones you
originally had , you can reload the
default attributes from the ezfm.ini file by choosing
Options>Reload Settings. Featurecam
will look at the current ezfm.ini file and read the attributes
from the file. This will also reload all of your user
settings from the ini file including toolbars and other
information.
-
The ezfm.ini
file is only rewritten when you use the "exit"
command. Therefore you can reload settings at any
time before exiting the program. Once you exit , it will
remember the settings you have for the next Featurecam
session.
