Using Total Stock for a Single Rough Pass

The total stock attribute can be useful for many different operations.  It can define how much stock is left on a casting so the tool doesn't waste time cutting air.  It is also very handy when you want to make only 1 rough pass, for example, you have to cut a large hole in a piece of plate and don't want to waste a lot of time turning the material in the middle into chips.  All you need to do is set the total stock in the rough operation to 0, the rough cut will leave the amount of material specified in the finish allowance and the finish pass will bring the hole to size.

Don't forget to press the set button after entering the new value and then apply and ok.
