It's useful to generate only a
single program when doing a part that requires multiple
indexed setups.

For example , the part below
requires repositioning to 0 , 90, 180 , and 270 degrees to be
machined (or 4 setups) on an indexing table about the X axis:

Featurecam will generate 4
individual programs unless it's told to generate a single
program.
4. Go to the stock properties, click on the
'Indexing' tab and select 4th axis positioning. Once you
select this option you can choose X or Y indexing.
